Philosophy

Mesa Child Care is a small home based childcare program that encourages exploration and provides opportunities for new discoveries daily. Indoor and outdoor environments are set up to enhance language, social interactions, fine and large motor skills, creativity, and cognitive development.

Each child’s unique desire to learn by doing is supported by activities such as sand and water play, finger painting, gardening, dramatic play (dress up), puzzles, blocks, a self help library, caring for animals and so much more. Parents are encouraged to take part in activities whenever possible because a parent-teacher partnership is key to creating the best start possible in early education.

Adults within the program consistently model values such as empathy, respect, and an appreciation for diversity. It is my goal to help children develop the skills to be confident in seeking knowledge and to desire a meaningful existence in our community.
